
All screenings are be held on Wednesday evenings at the Dolphins Hall, New Church St, Tetbury, GL8 8DS
There is limited free car parking available.
Doors open at 7.00 pm, screening begins at 7.30 pm, bring your friends or even your family!
Each season, we also hold extra screenings as fundraising events, e.g. for our local hospital and hospice.
Tickets for these charity fundraising screenings are sold separately.
The certificates shown are as listed on the BBFC website.
We do have to abide by age restrictions imposed, so we ask our audience to take note of the certificates assigned.

This film is based on events that took place during the 1972 Summer Olympics. It tells the story from the perspective of a television crew broadcasting live as the hostage crisis unfolds in front of them. The screenplay was nominated for an Oscar.

How To Make Millions Before Gramdma Dies
This amusing, intense and heart-rending drama follows a college dropout who decides to care for his ailing grandmother in the hopes of winning her affection and ultimately her fortune. It was nominated for an Oscar in the Best International Film category.

Radical
Based on the true story of an inspirational teacher, who was hired to transform the grades of students at an underperforming school. This film achieved the Festival Favourite Award at the Sundance Film Festival in January 2023.

The Penguin Lessons
Based on an incredible true story, this film stars Steve Coogan as Tom Michell, a disillusioned teacher who, on moving to Argentina in 1976, finds himself responsible for a Magallanic penguin rescued from an oil slick. The script is by Oscar nominee Jeff Pope, who worked with Steve Coogan on the films ‘Philomena’ and ‘Stan & Ollie’.

The Ballad of Wallis Island
In this British comedy/drama, old tensions resurface when former band mates and lovers reunite for a private performance at the island home of an eccentric millionaire and ‘superfan’. Based on a short film won an Edinburgh Film Festival award back in 2008, it involves many of the same team.

This romantic tragicomedy follows the life of Mahin, a seventy year old widow, who decides to revive her love life in Iran, where women’s rights are heavily restricted.

Memoir of a Snail
A dark and gritty antipodean fable about Grace Pudel, separated from her twin brother after her parent’s death. This film has won 12 awards, including best film at last year’s London Film Festival. It was also nominated for the Best Animated Feature Oscar this year against Wallace and Gromit’s latest adventure and the winner ‘Flow’.

This gripping drama depicts the true story of whistleblower Reality Winner. It is adapted from the 2019 stage play ‘Is This a Room’, with dialogue taken directly from the FBI interview.
